Jason Duffe has been at Environment and Climate Change Canada for 22 years, he began developing geomatics capacity for various wildlife conservation projects in 2004, when the National Wildlife Research Centre relocated to the Carleton University campus. He has managed the Geomatics Research program with the Science and Technology Branch since 2010, and collaborates with various government and non-government partners to deliver a variety of projects to support the wildlife and landscape portfolio of the Department with a research staff of 15-20 people. He has completed a Bachelors of Science from the University of Ottawa and a Master of Science both specializing in Biology,
